MARAUDER FOOTBALL CAMPS

Our Marauder coaching staff hold two one-week camp sessions geared towards youth and high-school athletes. The goal of each camp is to provide an enjoyable learning experience in a safe and structured environment. Athletes will be grouped to accommodate players of all ages and ability levels. Rental equipment is available for both camps.

Marauder Youth Day Camp

Session Details 2010

Camp day: 8:45am - 4:00pm

  • July 19 - 23, 2010 Ages 7-13 $215

The day camp will provide a complete football experience as well as time for other recreational activities, including a daily swim in our Olympic size pool. Each participant will receive:

  • Outstanding instruction from the McMaster coaching staff & players - the ratio will be approximately 8:1
  • A football camp practice jersey
  • A written evaluation from the coaches
  • Marauder 7 on 7 Touch Bowl
  • Full scrimmage on Friday
  • Alpine Tower, Leadership and Team development activities with McMaster's ALTITUDE program

Marauder Pre-Season High School Camp

Session Details 2010

Camp day: 6:00-8:30pm

  • August 16 - 20, 2010 Ages 13-19 $145

Rentals are available!

The pre-season camp will be held at the end of August in preparation for the upcoming football season.  Camp runs in the evenings and includes:

  • Outstanding instruction from the McMaster coaching staff and players
  • A football camp practice jersey
  • A written evaluation from the coaches
  • Marauder 7 on 7 Touch Bowl.
  • One-on-one film evaluation

Additional Camp Services

  • Extended Care for youth camp only from 7:30am - 5:30pm
  • Busing for youth camp only from Oakville, Burlington, Dundas & Ancaster

The Staff

The staff is composed of coaches and members of the McMaster Marauders Football Team and directed by Head Coach, Stefan Ptaszek.

Facilities

McMaster University playing fields, including the new Ron Joyce Stadium and Alumni Field, and featuring natural and soft-turf surfaces.

What to Bring to Camp

  • Non-refrigerated lunch
  • Complete set of football equipment: Rental Information
  • Running shoes (for on and off-field activities)
  • Cleats (optional for on-field sessions)
  • Hat
  • Sun block
  • Water bottle
  • Swim-suit and towel

Equipment Rental

The amount of contact at this camp will depend on the ability and age of the participant. It is, however, a full-contact camp and each participant will require a full-set of equipment and a mouth-guard. If you are unable to obtain a set of equipment for the week, we will rent you a set at a cost of $40.00 for the week.

  • Equipment Rental: All rental equipment will be issued on the Saturday before camp.
    • Day Camp: Saturday, July 17, 2010 @ 10:30am - 12:30pm
    • Pre-Season Camp: Saturday August 14, 2010 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.
  • Rental Fees are collected on day of pick-up
